      Hi guys

      I am having trouble trying to play S3Bubble1080pPreset.m3u8 files

      The video reverts to the S3Bubble720pPreset after a few seconds of play. This has only happened since today when I tried your new transcode presets. All my other videos converted a few weeks back play HLS at 1080p with no trouble from my connection.

      Any help or advice is appreciated.

      Hi kieran,

      Just taken a look i can see you 1080p preset is within the switcher everything seems to be working correctly when testing.

      Using adaptive bitrate the player will automatically choose the playlist based on your connection you will need to select 1080p in the switcher to force it to play 1080p.

      It also might be the size of your player go fullscreen and 1080p should be select for a good internet connection.

      Also just so you know you can set the Global brand for all your players in the dashboard.

      can you let me know where the switcher you mentioned below please? Just to test.

      I am still getting the error on the below file when it is loaded form the HLS file encoded-11-05-25-fri-apr-2017.m3u8. However when I view the file in a browser it loads?

      The error I get in safari console for the below is “An error occurred when trying to load the resource.”

      Hi Kieran,

      Navigate to the video in S3Bubble in the player there is a cog in the video player control bar.

      The link won’t play directly in safari because it’s a playlist it needs to be managed with a player.

      Sorry I cannot see a cog on the video page player to change to 1080p. I have emailed you an image of the console error for 1080p files. Sorry I cannot attach an image here.

      Safari is playing the direct link to the file link fine as it supports HLS files.

      Yes I can see the player on that page and if you play the video on that page and check your console you will see the errors I have mentioned above that I am having the issue with.

      Sorry I should have said refresh and the error is under the resources tab in the web inspector in safari not the console.
