It is extremely difficult to get support here. It’s been about 2 weeks since I last emailed without any replies…
If someone would simply answer a basic question, there would be no need to have to run after support to get an email or a ticket seen. The only reason I am still here on S3Bubble is because making the videos difficult to download for our viewers is important because customer service here is not really regularly active.
I would like to upgrade to developer after 30 days because I think it’s an important service but when S3Bubble goes weeks without a single reply, what would it be like once we were actually customers? I agree that there is a problem when customers are constantly asking questions that could be easily solved by watching a video or reading online documentation…but what happens when the customers have done that and they still need help?
I need to know, just as I emailed… are my videos properly encrypted into small 10 sec .ts segments and how do I tell? I have used developer tools on browsers to try to see the individual .ts files appear and they are not. In the S3Bubble Dashboard, all of my videos have AES-128 under the Protection Tab… but in my S3 buckets through the Amazon Dashboard, AES-128 is not selected on any of the videos. How can customers pay for a service that they are not even sure is working?
Business owners should be working on issues pertaining their own business… not trying to run down support at S3Bubble.

Thanks for your feedback we are a small team here at S3Bubble and we only charge $9.99 a month for the developer option unlike other services charging up to $99.99 a month and we offer the same functionality as them and more, we do this because we cannot offer the same level as they can due to being a small team and support can be very time consuming that’s why we have lots of videos on http://learning.s3bubble.com.
Think of it like ikea you get the furniture for a fraction of the price because you have to set it up.
Let me try and help the best way to check is to open network tools in chrome right click inspect element select the network tab and then select media refresh the page right click and download a segment try and open it if it opens and plays for 10 seconds it has not been encrypted.
Or you can find a browser download extension and try and download it with that.
Please also make sure you are using iframes for your streaming players and the oembed s3bubble plugin.

I can only apologise that it has taken a while for us to get back we have been focusing on smart tv app development.

I read on comments from another video between administrator from S3Bubble and a customer that the Plug-in was no longer needed. For clarity, are you saying that WordPress users who do not use the plug-in but use the regular embedding that is offered for any videos through S3Bubble will not be properly encrypted?
My videos are not encrypted at all, even though I can show screenshots from my S3Bubble dashboard that say that they are…
Amazon has already charged me for the transcoder services and I feel that I have been lied to by S3Bubble.
This is why the videos have been stolen and I was having serious bandwidth issues, which is what I’d emailed about but was ignored because I was not a paid customer yet and just testing your products.
Even though I am a female and a busy business woman, it doesn’t mean that I don’t comprehend instructions or don’t attentively watch the videos provided by your services… I told you all that something is wrong. If the dashboard is saying things that go against reality and you will not help people or try to see if there is a bug, and you make excuses that you all are focusing on other projects, and forum instructions go against instructions left in comments by your administrators… then why should anyone upgrade?

You have certainly not been lied to and I find it frustrating that you can even say that.
S3bubble is a service that works we use it for many services and the only reason you may have issues is down to user error or our support hasn’t lived up to your standards I hold my hands up to that trying to offer support to many many different users can be extremely hard at the best of times but please don’t say you have been lied to if your videos are not encrypted then you have probably not setup the transcoded properly. In encryption settings there should be a question mark in the admin of you do not have encryption setup.
If you have encryption setup correctly everything will work smoothly as it does for us. Take the plugin away from it for a second and just use the iframe code does that work?
If you don’t want to upgrade then you are under no obligation to do so we offer a service and have many users that get on with it without any issues, we are in no way out to con people if it doesn’t work for you please use another service our service costs $9.99 per month believe me we cannot offer a high level of support for that price currently, I am not making excuses I am simply saying how it is.
Please can you take some screenshots or do a video so I can see your issues and I will take a look at this for you and hopefully resolve any issues you have if you still want to use S3Bubble.
Sorry for the long winded response but I would never rip anyone off or attempt to rip anyone off simple as that!!
