      Hi Guys,

      Hope all is good,

      1. When using the O-embed plugin. If I limit app access to a single bucket. It is ignored and seems to take a random selection from all my buckets? So I have reverted to the plugin I mention below which also supports the uploader.

      2. Are ye guys no longer supporting the Plugin (plus uploader) at https://wordpress.org/plugins/s3bubble-amazon-s3-audio-streaming?

      Thanks

      Kieran

      Hi Kieran,

We are no longer supporting the old plugin that you linked to and it will slowly become deprecated. I would definitely suggest not using this we are porting everything over to the oembed plugin.

The oembed plugin will get all the added media files from our database not Amazon if you set but you are right it is not very clear we are going to separate the apps and connected websites to 2 different sections.

      Best Regards

      Sam

      Hi Sam

      Thanks for letting me know.

I will change to the oembed plugin. I see now it is taking the file list from my list in s3bubble.
My sub sites need to select files from individual s3 buckets and this was working fine with the old plugin.

Could you let me know how I could select files from an individual s3 bucket at the moment using the oembed plugin?

      Thanks again for your time

      Kieran

      Hi Sam

I figured it out by making a connected site that is assigned to a bucket. Then visiting each media file in s3bubble added the file to the s3bubble database.

Those files were then available to the WP plugin.

      Thanks again

      Hi

Sorry for the follow up 🙂

Just a quick question: Is there a limit on connected sites? I will need to create a connected site for each site in multisite in order to assign a bucket to each? The sites will be domain mapped. I was doing this by creating an App for each bucket with the old plugin.

I intend to upgrade my licence when I have my multisite up and running.

      Thanks again for your time.

        Hi Kieran,

Yes, that’s correct you can only connect one website per package we have a company pricing deal that allows 5 websites.

You will not be able to use the old way anymore it will be blocked eventually.

        Best Regards

      Hi Sam

      Thanks for your help.

I have had a look at the pricing options and it is not really workable into my budget at present. I am going to be starting with around 10 sites on the network and plan on having around 50 sites by the end of the year. My plan was to use apps for each site just for embedding in WP. I have built basic S3 uploader/managers into their WP dashboards.

If someone wanted stats or advanced features I was going to purchase an additional s3Bubble account from ye guys for each client so the client could use all the s3Bubble features to manage their videos.

I totally understand now that this is no longer an option and your landscape is changing.

Thanks again for all your help

      Kieran
