right Steps to upload video and setup service ?

I have two questions, if it’s possible.

1- Can I upload videos directly into wordpress wp-admin ?

I copy the steps that I followed to setup my site and upload videos:
1- create user in aws
2- create group in aws with correct permissions
3- user access and secret key to setup s3bubble connection
4- create encription key in aws

In s3bubble
1- create bucket
2- upload video (redirecting to s3 amazon)
3- In actions create elastic transcoder pipeline selecting created encription key (verifiying id)
4- in bucket click in Start Encription and check bitrates
5- In Aws Elastic Transcoder menu confirm status
6- In bucket Actions – Create cloudfront web distribution
7- in media select video, then cloudfront option and attach it to the video.
8- create new Movie en wordpress selecting the correct video.

Question 2:
Is it correct ? I need to do steps 2, 4 and 7 every time that upload a video ?
Is this really necesary to attach one by one video to cloudfront distribution or can i setup cloudfront distribution as default to attach all uploaded videos ?

Hi am@minimalart.org,

I would suggest doing the following which is what we do set up the AWS media uploader.

Use the following shortcode.
[streamium_uploader folder="userid" bucket="Enter your bucket here" filetypes="mp4,m4v,mov" filesize="1gb"]

You should be notified when a user uploads a video, you can then go to S3Bubble dashboard find your set uploader bucket and then go to the users folder based on their id, you can either click encode directly from here on the video.

What we do is we use the AWS interface to copy the video from their folder to another bucket for our theme and then encode from there.

thanks, but I wont user upload videos, I’m talking about only admin

It should be simple enough to do only allow users with certain permissions to upload.
