      Hello,

      I am using the thumbnails generated by the transcoder both in cloudfront and downloading some to use as stills on my site.

      The files look great but are quite large (2+MB each) for thumbs and even site pics.

      Q: Can the transcoder preset be modified to create a same resolution file well under 1MB each?
      Are jpegs an option in Elastic?

      I looked for info on this and cannot discover a solution.

      Hi James,

      You would need to resize yourself or maybe setup a script you could take a look a Lambda they have some pretty neat functionality you can setup scripts to batch run on an AWS bucket might be worth checking out.
