Hi, I have been trying to upload my video, using the desktop app, many times.
I am a trial user, and am uploading 200M file.

      Did I miss something?
The upload showed 100% complete, yet, nothing on my video folder.

      Please help me out.
      Regards,

      Hi Klsrrr,

Can you please give us a little more information.

Which operating system you are using Windows or Mac?

Are you upload to a folder or root folder?

What format is the video in?

This will help us resolve the issue.

      Best Regards

      hi. thanks.
I am using Mac, with updated OS and applications. (Firefox and Chrome).
I uploaded to the video folder.
      The file is .mp4 (200M).
It showed uploading was 100% completely in my screen.

      Hi klsrrr,

We are really struggling to reproduce your issue, we have tested your setup and uploaded a 1G file without any issues with the desktop app.

Could you take a screenshot or even better record you screen so we can help you with this.

      Best Regards

      Hi

      Thanks.
But, I still get following information:
      ——————
Attempting upload of 1 file to selected folder.
      File /Users/businesswing/Documents/eKen-summer01s.mp4 (201.2 MB) … ERROR
–> com.amazonaws.AmazonClientException: Unable to upload part: The difference between the request time and the current time is too large.
      Refreshing file list…
      Done
      ————————

I am still willing to try your service. Please help me to solve this problem.
By the way, I could see your VeryLargeFile.zip on the same folder: video.

        Hi Kay,

After searching around we found this and this looks like it maybe the cause of your problem.

One of the common errors that Amazon S3 users come across is “The difference between the requested time and the current time is too large” or “Your computer clocks are not synchronized”. This error often occurs when your computer clock is not synchronized properly. Amazon returns error code if request doesn’t come in a certain time interval.
We recommend to make sure your computer clock are set properly and http://wwp.greenwichmeantime.com/ can help. After synchronizing computer clock the error is usually gone.

Please let us know if this resolves your issues.

        Best Regards

        Hi Klsrr

You can upload files directly through the website uploader just select your bucket and click upload.

Can you try the desktop app from another computer we would really like to find out what this issue is to resolve it, but we can’t recreate it unfortunately.

        Best Regards
