    Hello Zawan Na,

I am a user giving feedback from your link.

    1) Make sure you are on the latest S3Bubble WordPress Plugin which is 5.0, and just released today. (looks like you are not 5.0 by the cut-off player display formatting).

    2) Create a video thumbnail and upload it to the file folder for this lesson stream in your S3 Dashboard. We just see the default S3Bubble blue swath on white. Ideally you create and optimize all of them in Photoshop. Thumbnail: 1280×720 pixels jpeg for video or audio players. Should be under or no bigger than 125kb. Do it for all your video thumbnails.

I noticed your resolution settings and you have two 720p in the selector display (numbers displayed are funky, but an update to 5.0 should resolve). But, multiple identical streaming resolutions could cause problems and cost more needlessly. Set up your custom hls encoding presets for all different video resolutions and audio qualities and avoid all the others to eliminate duplicates. You can only choose each once.

Other than these observations, your clip played perfectly on a newer Windows 10 laptop on latest Firefox.

    Best, James

    Hi Santa,

I’m a user of S3Bubble and can tell you that you should definitely install the latest SelfHosting Plugin and be moving all of your media to the Oembed Link style.

iFrame has a more compact footprint on the page and some cool functionalities, but it is becoming and will be obsolete.

Through all of the change here at S3Bubble the concept has remained: create easier & more reliable functionality for you the user, more reliable playback and streaming with most devices (and the ones that have issues are usually older devices which will be abandoned soon), Great security and integration of all of these programs and plugins…So it’s all good for us as users and our customers too.

I have had iFrames fail or give errors, and sometimes they come back to life, but I am almost done changing over all of my media and am glad I did.

Also, Sam is a Brilliant with all of this(and his whole team)…Fabulous cutting edge product!
And even though right now I am a small customer for the company and don’t use the Streamium Theme, which is their main focus for the brand, he has always worked miracles for me when I really needed some function.

    Is your site live yet?

Best of Luck and Happy Carnaval 2018!

    Jamie

PS: I’ve been a good boy, so I look forward to your December visit!

My self hosted video and audio file site links are all dead both on the site and on s3bubble, except some older legacy iframe audio playlists.

    Please advise.

    Hi Sam,

    Thank you for that!

I was trying your new lazy load playlists (which is a fantastic addition!) and I noticed you can only navigate to the folders just inside the root bucket.

Is it possible to allow navigation deeper into the bucket folders?

For example: Inside my main bucket are contributor folders (which lazy load can access), inside each one of those I have an upload folder and a stream folder for each contributor. Inside the stream folder are the HLS encryptions, which for an audio CD there would be yet another folder containing all of the tracks to that CD.

If I could navigate to that CD folder deep inside the contributors’ folders the Lazy Load would turn that CD into the next playlist. That would be absolutely brilliant!

Thank you for everything you keep inventing on S3 Bubble!!!

    Hi Sam,

I think I should also remove the http referrer from my policy as brazil is one of my target markets.

Does adding standard bucket policy affect any security settings?
If I lock down my media to my site will it still work as intended?

Thank you and Happy Brazilian Independence Day!

    Hi Sam,

    Thank you for the code!
    So many awesome features…

The waveform is appearing in new encodes, and in playlists it will come and go, for example the first track won’t show it, then I select another track in the list and the wave appears, and clicking back to the first one it then appears as well, so I wonder if it’s a cache issue.

I will play around more and keep changing all tracks to self hosted then see what happens.

One thing that still never shows is the thumbnails on audio playlists.
Is there something that may be obvious that is doing this? It happens even with a jpeg already in the encryption folder.

    Thank you again!

    Hi Patrick,

I would love that too from S3Bubble, but I currently use S3 Media Vault from DAP/WCP

    http://wickedcoolplugins.com/dap/a/?a=11804&p=www.wickedcoolplugins.com/doc/s3mediavault-pro-installation/

That may be an option until it becomes part of S3Bubble someday.

    Good luck!

    Hi Zawan_na,

Your video file must be an MP4 or Encrypted HLS since Cloudfront does not handle .MOV file extensions.

    Good luck!

    Hi Sam,

Very awesome!!! It’s now a clean control bar both in the Dashboard and on the site.
    Thank you!

So remove this plugin?: S3Bubble Amazon S3 Video And Audio Streaming With Analytics & Uploader

And keep only the self hosted…

The video playlist mini thumbs are less compacted so that helps alot…later it would be cool if they can expand responsively when you select full screen to give more breathing room…however,

The audio standalone files and playlists don’t have the waveform, don’t accept or show Posters, and audio playlists don’t show mini posters…these things you already know, but just reiterating what remains.

Thank you so much for these solutions…Simply Brilliant!!!

    Hi Sam,

The playlist links cleaned up the same way as stand alone videos, so now there are no thin lines around the video.

The remaining issues I see that are now the same on iFrame and New Self Hosted embeds:

The player bar still loses intended formatting.

The player does not use the Saved Brand Profiles.

Video Playlist mini thumbs appear in pop-up list but are squished and do not expand like they used to.

Audio Playlist mini thumbs do not appear at all and individual audio Full-Sized Posters do not appear on the embed screen even when in the HLS folder.

Audio Files in the new individual track and playlist format shows no waveform (ideally it will be as tall and robust as the old waveforms).

Would be great if you can have more control over the poster image (ie: contain, fill top, fill sides, or some sort of scale control) An alternate option would be to be able to define the aspect of the audio and/or video player (1×1, 16×9, 4×3, or custom).

    Have a great week!

    I figured out the lines!

My SiteOrigin Page Editor was adding code to the Visual Editor…I went to text edit and this appeared:

    <pre class=”s3bubble-code-formatter”><code class=”html ng-binding”>[s3bubble codes=”hxPT41347″ /]

So when I deleted the added code and saved the clean link it was fine. [s3bubble codes=”hxPT41347″ /]

The player bar is still out of format and not using my Saved Brand Profile in stand alone videos.

Now, I’ll see if the playlists will clean up the same way.

    Thank you, Jamie

    Hi Sam,

I was just embedding more self hosted and noticed something; the thin lines around the self hosted on my pages are the same size as the iFrame video, so the self hosted video image itself is actually smaller than the iFrame video.

Does that help figure out what’s going on with the thin lines?

    Thank you!
    Jamie
